FCPS serves 3,700 students and families in 9 learning environments. Our schools include 4 elementary, 2 middle and 1 comprehensive high school. Additionally, we serve students in a career and technical center and an alternative center.
We are proud to have a team of over 300 teaching professionals within our learning community. Our teachers facilitate and participate in a large range of professional development opportunities. Our learning communities are lead by state renowned principals and our students receive state-wide recognition for their academic and civic contributions.
We are supported by both our business and faith-based community. Our partners enable us to connect the needs of the students and our schools with the intellectual and financial resources of the community. Our business and faith-based community participate in mentoring and tutoring, volunteering, internships, financial contributions and in-kind donations. These are just a few ways that partners significantly impact student achievement.
We are grateful to the supporters of FCPS and welcome you to our community of learners. Through focus, commitment, and service, we are building a successful future for our students.
