chief operations officer for Fayette County Public School we are happy to welcome our students in person learn we have prepared for this day and we feel that we are ready with all of our new safety precautions please take this opportunity to watch the following video and your students with the new normal of school we have taken safety precautions in the areas of Transportation food nutrition instruction Maintenance and Facilities we want to make sure that our students and staff members are safe and healthy make sure to explain to your students what school will look like when we are in a pandemic if you have any questions and concerns please feel free to contact me at 9:01 for 5520 to 245 the following video will be a free method of a student of Fayette County Public Schools remember to mask up and see thanks thank you when the bus arrives to pick us up from school the bus monitor checked my temperature and gives me some hand sanitizer when I get on the bus I only state with people who live in my house when we arrive to school safely exit the bus and line up leaving space between us after me and my classmates get off the bus a bus monitor and drivers team ties the bus so it will be clean when it's time for us to go home when we walk into school each of us check our temperatures to see if we are running a fever if one of my classmates has a fever they will go with the school nurse to the isolation room where they will get checked out and stay until their parents can come pick them up all the students who passed the temperature check will pick up breakfast to take to the classroom as we walk through the hall we will follow the signs on the floor which tell us how far to be apart from each other and which direction to walk down the hallway each classroom has a hand sanitizer station we always use this before we eat our breakfast when it is time to learn my teacher make sure we are seated six feet apart and ready to learn when it is time for lunch in the cafeteria staff brings our food and we eat in our classroom after a little more time in the classroom it is time for IMAX break this is when we go outside and can take our masks off school is almost over it is time to head back to the bus and go home on our way to the bus we pick up tomorrow's lunch to eat when we are at home after the school day is over our custodian to make sure everything is clean our school custodians work hard play our school to make sure to stay for the student people attend tomorrow
