Vision

Our commitment is to meet the individual needs of students ages 3 through 21 in the least restrictive environment who are eligible for special education and related services according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Mission

Fayette County Schools' Special Education Department provides high quality services and support to students with disabilities. Through the utilization of appropriate research based strategies and resources, we are able to provide a continuum of services and develop programs that will meet the unique educational needs of children with disabilities.
